About the Role

The CS/R referee is a sports professional who oversees competitions and ensures grapplers follow the rules during competition. Referees look for rule violations, give out warnings and penalties, monitor time remaining in the match and make sure grapplers are safe.

Venture Sports & Entertainment is an emerging media organization & live event producer dedicated to showcasing the vibrant and diverse culture of combat sports. Our brand: Combat Sports Report is hosting 16 Man Tournaments - Saturday October 19th in Denver, CO

Job Summary:

Combat Sports Report is currently seeking qualified (submission only) Grappling Officials to perform sports officiating services for an upcoming live event: Saturday October 19th in Denver, CO

REQUIREMENTS:

The lead official shall have a minimum of 3 years' experience officiating grappling.
The lead official shall be present to officiate and serve as consultant to the locally certified official during each show.
Officials shall adhere to all rules and local area policies as set forth by Combat Sports Report and the Arena.
Officials shall wear officiating apparel as prescribed by the respective associations. Such clothing shall always be kept neat and clean.
Officials shall also train the scorekeepers on local procedures, equipment, facilities and scorekeeping procedures.
